Project Operations & Assistance Product designer (m/w/d)

What you'll do

  • Develop the design of laboratory research equipment.
  • Ideate, sketch, and prototype new product developments in collaboration with the lead designer.
  • Analyze, diagnose and implement improvements in our products' usability.
  • Assist with prototyping and testing of new designs.

Qualifications

  • Strong 3D CAD modeling and technical drawings skills (Solidworks, Rhinocceros or similar).
  • Experience with prototyping and hands-on fabrication.
  • Passion for design and a desire to learn and grow.
  • You are a student at a top university, you hold a Bachelor's or you are pursuing a Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Engineering (Mechanical, Material, Production).
  • You have an eye for detail paired with a strong sense for contemporary aesthetics, that becomes apparent in your portfolio of work samples.
  • Experience and/or interest in UX/UI design.
  • You are diligent, well-organized and fully committed to the project, team player, ready to join a small team in a young company and grow together with us.
  • You are at ease in written and oral communication in English, German is a plus.
  • You are a self-starter, a fast learner, and share our hands-on mentality.
